Beyonce has a new song out with Shakira... I'm diggin' it and I love the video. If you check it out, there will be several times where you have to try and figure out who is who. I think that was the point. Love love love the video!

I've always thought that Shakira looked like Beyonce and vice versa only a few skin shades off.

So, people may or may not this, but I'm about thisclose to being a Janet stan... so when I heard that she is set be in Tyler Perry's new film, Why Did I Get Married, based on one of his plays. You know I got a lil' bit excited. The film is set to start filming in March, so that means it probably won't be out until the end of this year or the beginning of next year...

I didn't see Daddy's Little Girls... simply because it came out on V-Day and the last time I went to see a movie, my (guy) friend absolutely refused to see it. One day, one day... maybe I'll make it a Blockbuster night...

Oh, yeah. Yay Janet! (P.S. I agree that Janet isn't the best actor, but darnit, I don't care!)

It's apparently a response to Timbaland calling out Scott and calling him the Piano Man. Whatever. I guess Scott does a decent enough job, but I'm waiting for the response from Mr. Mosley...

Jimmie's Got Soul, but he's a sore loser

I was watching the Barbara Walters Oscar Special on Sunday and she showed Eddie Murphy an interview from 20 years ago where he said that he didn't see an Oscar in his future...

He was right, so I don't get why he's being so pissy about it.

US Magazine reported that Eddie and Tracey left the Oscars early after his loss and that he missed the Dreamgirls performance as well as seeing Jennifer Hudson (and I'll assume Forrest Whitaker) win their Oscars.

Woo woo woo, poor thing. He'll be a'ight.

The Number 23

Went to see "The Number 23" this weekend.

Interesting movie. It's about a animal control specialist (read: dog catcher) who starts reading a book that essentially gets him going on this crazy obsession with the number 23 and about an unsolved murder.The movie is semi-told through the story of the book, and you can see his paranoia growing with each chapter he reads.

Jim Carrey did a good job, I think. There was an interesting plot twist at the end, but watching the movie got me confused, tired and yes, a little bored. The ending was a little schamltzy, but all in all, it was a dcent movie, let's say a 6 out of 10.

Anyway, I can't find anything in my life that adds up to 23, so I guess I'm safe? Whatevs...

I've done it before. Said I'm gonna start a blog. And I'm gonna post regularly. And it's gonna be witty and impressive, and will occasionally bring a tear to someone's eye.
